Persons wishing to provide oral testimony are <br />asked to submit a completed request form to the PCDP project manager prior to the completion of each <br />public testimony portion of the meeting. Oral testimony shall be limited to three (3) minutes in length <br />per agenda item during the Public Testimony on Agenda Items portion of the meeting or immediately <br />prior to an agenda item, subject to the discretion of the Chair of the Puna CDP Action Committee. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Regular Meeting on February 12, 2013 <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />(5 min) <br />1. Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resource Preservation Commission Report <br />Steven Hirakami will brief the AC on the 2012 PONC Report to the Mayor and the prioritized <br />recommendations for acquisitions for the year. <br />(20 min) <br />2. Communication No. 2013 -13: Mass Transit -Hub & Spoke System <br />A draft letter from the AC to the Mass Transit Agency asking to begin implementation of a hub <br />& spoke transit system in Puna. <br />(15 min) <br />3. Communication No. 2013 -XX: Red Road Scenic Byways Designation <br />Farris will introduce a draft letter of support to have the Red Road (Hwy. 137) designated as a <br />Scenic Byway. (15 min) <br />4. Glenwood Park: Sharon will lead a discussion on appropriate development of the park site <br />along Hwy. I I across from Hirono Store in Glenwood that would make the park more suitable <br />for keiki and family activities.
